make a booking in more detail.
To
Make A Booking.
To make a booking we must first check on the acts availability
and then get an accurate quote. The prices shown on this website
are average prices only. They're only intended to give you a rough
idea of the price range different entertainers fit into.
To Get An Accurate Quote.
To get an accurate quote you must first use the Enquiry
Form. We will then be able to check their availability for
the date you require, give you an accurate quote and also inform
you of the amount of deposit neccesary to complete the booking.
The Deposit.
Most bookings require a small deposit in advance of around 15%
of the total cost. Your final payment can then be made directly
to the entertainer on the day of your event. We also arrange bookings
without deposit in some cases and can also offer an account payment
method for regular customers.
To Complete Your Booking.
To complete your booking all you need to do is send your deposit
to our office address shown on the Contact
Page and then complete the Booking
Form.
The Booking Form.
The booking form must be filled out for ALL bookings. Make sure
any special requirements you may have regarding your booking are
entered somewhere on the booking form.
The Contract.
For all bookings over £150 you must also sign a contract agreeing
the date and price etc. This is to protect the customer form being
out-bid by someone else closer to the date, and to protect the
entertainer against last minute cancellations. Once we have received
your deposit and booking form we will send you out the contract
to be signed, there are a total of 14 days to complete the signing
of the contract. This is split in two parts, 7 days for you to
sign and return the contract, we will then send a copy to the
entertainer who then has a further 7 days to sign and return it
to us.
Booking Confirmation.
All bookings are confirmed in writing and receipts are posted
out for all deposits or other payments received by @lpha Entertainment.
A copy of your booking details will also be sent to you with a
copy of the signed contract by your choosen act (if booking is
over £150).
Help on filling out the forms.
If you
need help in answering any of the questions on the forms please
read the section below first, if you still need help phone the
number at the bottom of the page between our office hours and
we'll be only too glad to help.
The booking
form is quite long and may take you some time to fill. We suggest
that you 'log off' or 'disconnect' your internet connection as
soon as you have down loaded the page. This will save on your
telephone bill to your ISP.
Next using
the 'Save As' option from the drop down 'file menu' of your browser,
save the form to your hard drive, giving you as much time as you
like to think about your musical preferences and other details.
Use your browser to view the form 'off-line'). Note, saving the
form with information in the boxes doesn't work! When you reload
the page it will be blank again.
Once you have filled in the form, connect to the internet using
your normal method, and then clicking the 'Send Booking' button
at the bottom of the form. You don't need to be viewing our site
or constantly contected to the internet to use the form, you just
need to be online when you click the send button.
