Freeloader are 7 piece covers band based in Southampton playing a combination of Soul and Motown Classics along with some select Jazz and modern tracks done in their own style, with a similar Mark Ronson sound!

Freeloader formed in the summer of 2007 and very quickly achieved local acclaim in the South of England for their interpretation of the soul and motown classic and then later added modern 'classics' and a jazz repertoire.
Very quickly their musicianship and professionalism led them to residencies in Southampton, Bournemouth, Winchester and Salisbury.

Satisfying regular engagements at both publicly attended performances and private events from weddings, graduations and corporate functions to parties, charity balls and gala openings, the band continue to entertain and inspire at a notional level.
Comparisons have been drawn that are as flattering and diverse as The James Brown Orchestra and Mark Ronson. They also have many varied personal projects as individuals and continue to work within the music industry as writers producers and session musicians.
