Their music has proved ideal for a variety of functions including weddings, 20's theme nights, 'prohibition' parties, tea dances, 'decofairs' etc. In addition to this they have also performed at the following jazz festivals: St John's Smith Square Thursday Lunchtime Series, the Hatherleigh and Plaxtol Festivals.
Future engagements include the Arundel and Wellington Festivals, Powderham Castle, Decofairs in Hove and many other functions.
People's Comments - "I recently had the pleasure of attending a short concert given by the group, I thoroughly enjoyed the music they played, which was lively and very entertaining. They are a talented group of versatile players who have clearly worked hard to produce an ensemble which I can wholeheartedly recommend to you" - STEPHEN TRIER, Hon ARCM, Professor of Saxophone, Royal College of Music 1970-96.
"Colourful fashions and musical talent combined to turn the Art Deco Extravaganza at Morecombe's Midland Hotel into a tremendous success at the weekend. The debut of the Gatsby Saxophone Quartet outside London was sensational, their appearance recapturing the atmosphere of the thirties in scintillating style."
'The best sound in years', comedian Jim Bowan was heard to comment.
"The Quartet was absolutely 'right for our wedding'. We have had many comments from guests about how much they enjoyed the music, We are thrilled with what you did."
