Supreme Strings will provide music of a professional standard for your wedding, dinner or corporate function. The quartet regularly works throughout the South, including the counties of Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon and West Sussex, being prepared to travel further a field as required.
Supreme Strings uses musicians of the highest quality, its players being principally music graduates, members of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and seasoned professionals from the Hampshire area, and are prepared to travel further a field as required.
Supreme Strings can provide an extensive repertoire of stylish and elegant background music for all occasions. Their repertoire includes great Classical quartets by Mozart and Haydn, as well as popular classics from Bach, Handel and Delibes. For a lighter touch, they can play Theme Tunes, Ragtime, Jazz and melodies from the Shows. They are also happy to provide arrangements of your special requests. The Supreme Strings follows in the success of the Bath Spa String Quartet, which is based in Bath, Somerset. This highly reputable group has been established for over 7 years and played at well over 250 weddings and functions. Their experience allows them to know what makes the perfect musical accompaniment to your special day. Both quartets are managed by and played in by Michelle, who would be happy to discuss your requirements for music across the South and South-West of England.
Supreme String's minimum session of two hours will usually provide music through from seating your guests, to the wedding ceremony itself and then as an accompaniment to your drinks and photos. If you would like them to play for the wedding breakfast and/or after dinner entertainment, you can of course have longer. Their regularly play for 3, 4 and 5 hour bookings. Fees include travel within a 20 mile radius of Southampton and a personal music planning service. Special requests can be arranged for a small charge.
Please remember that when choosing music for your civil ceremony, no religious items are permitted.

Some clients also choose to have a solo spot where the quartet will play a piece of music for you and your guests to listen to. This may be one of your favourite classical pieces or it could be an arrangement made for you, of a popular song that means something special. If you would like to have an arrangement made, please allow at least 8 weeks notice.
