The band tours extensively throughout the UK and abroad performing at many major Corporate Events, Award Presentations, Post Conference Parties, Charity Balls, Cabaret and Theatre Shows, as well as appearing on prime time TV. The band's versatility and sheer energy create a truly great centrepiece for any private party, proving to be a major catalyst for success at weddings and barmitzvahs.
What was once a group of Marines who happened to be musicians, has now become the increasingly successful Alpha Connection.
In 1989 four Royal Marine musicians formed a band called Alpha Connection and performed at the odd holiday camp and at a few dinner dances in and around Portsmouth. They soon added the brass section to the band completing the current line up of Alpha Connection. In 1990 the band completed a world record for performing 108 hours non-stop in aid of the NSPCC and was officially entered in the 'Guinness Book of World Records'.
