Jonathan Prag is a classical guitarist of the highest level. Ideal for back ground music in hotels or at special events during a meal. More recent bookings have even seen Jonathan playing at Wedding Ceremonies.

Jonathan Prag was raised in Luxembourg and spoke French until he was ten. He took up the guitar at twelve. Largely self taught, he owes a lot to internationally acclaimed guitarist Carlos Bonell with whom he studied for several years. Jonathan is also a member of The Ruskin Ensemble, and gives concerts with them up and down the country. He was born in Bolton and is a devoted supporter of Bolton Wanderers Football Club.
Jonathan worked for several years as a professional actor after studying drama at Bristol University. Recently he has been drawn back into the theatre. In 1994 he appeared with Eartha Kitt in "Yes", as the musician who accompanied Miss Kitt's character when she sang. At this Year's Edinburgh Fringe festival he is appearing as the musician in the play "Mountain Belly and Rocky Face" by Martin Dimery. The play features well known Fringe star Pip Utton of "Hancock" fame and is at The Café Royal Main Theatre from 10th - 31st August.
Jonathan is fast becoming a sell-out draw at the Edinburgh Festival. Since first appearing in 1992 as part of the Alborada Guitar Duo, Jonathan has returned every year with a new solo show. Last year a tape of his concert sold out and he has a new one in the pipeline to coincide with this year's festival. He has played live from the festival on Radio Scotland, BBC Scotland and Classic FM and finds the unique atmosphere of the Edinburgh Festival irresistible and the enthusiastic audiences very invigorating.
