Take Cover are an established six-piece function covers band based in Southampton Hampshire. Originally formed in '98 as Cover Story they now boast both experienced original members, as well as some new talent!

Take Cover are an established six-piece band with a reputation as one of the most popular live music groups on the South Coast.
Take Cover offer an extremely varied repertoire, the band caters for all tastes, with songs from the 50's to the present day. Unlike many other function bands, most of Take Cover's songs are played in medleys, which provides a continuous flow of music from start to finish.
Take Cover use high quality sound and lighting equipment (tailored to individual venues), and are ideally suited for playing Weddings, corporate functions and parties. Live music is provided for approximately two hours, with CD background music played during breaks. The group consists of 3 vocalists, lead guitar, keyboards, bass guitar and drums.
Take Cover offer complete professionalism, superb vocal & musical talent and high quality sound in order to ensure a memorable and successful function. One of their most memorable moments was providing entertainment at the wedding of GMTV Weathergirl Clare Nasir in March 2005.

It was very good to meet you beforehand and discuss the format of the evening then. You responded very promptly to my emails and offered good suggestions for the format of the evening, etc.
The band was very flexible- thank you as we did overrun on the timing for dinner quite a lot. You were also very flexible in the set playing and CD session timing (interval music). We like the songs played very much.
Although the internet site did not look as glossy as some of the other band sites we looked at, all the information we needed was there and it was easy to follow.
We have had a lot of positive comments form our guests about the band. The band member were very friendly and outgoing.

Party Night at Sgt's & Warrant Officers Mess

Company Function at Function Room
Everybody who attended the evening said how good the band was and the range of music that was covered, as we had a mixed age group. Some guests and partners were interested and asked us about the band and where we got you from, we passed info on to them.
